Great little spot in the heart of Monkland village. One of the best terraces. Great food and lovely staff. Shout out to Maite, Evlyn, and Evan. They make every time I come here a great experience.

It's always a nice place to have a drink but I would like to see some more craft beers; with thst in mind, it still gets 5 stars. I had the dumplings and they were delicious! I think this review gets bu.ped to five stars because of our waiter Anthony. It's the staff that brings up the reviews and its the members like Anthony that should get accolades
I absolutely LOVED this place. There was this AMAZING bar tender, I believe her name was Sofia. She made amazing drinks and was super helpful! 10/10 best bar in Montreal!
The staff are exceptionally friendly and the food is amazing and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place. Also the kitchen is open til 1am, which is really nice.
Update: Promised I’d come back and give 5 stars when they earned it! Went back to Typhoon in September and had a great experience. Was sitting inside this time and staff was kind and were okay with us sticking around around closing time. Really happy I went back another time! —— From July 2021: There are many things I enjoy about Typhoon including their delicious burgers and general ambiance. However, what seems to be lacking at times is worthwhile customer service. I recognize that they are understaffed (based on signs for hiring on the door) so I am aware that some of the more glaring issues with my latest visit (including unreasonably long wait times and sometimes inattentive wait staff) may be simply rectified by having more staff. I appreciated how they adhered to COVID rules which made me feel safe, especially as many places are loosening restrictions beyond what the govt is allowing.

Very interesting bar/restaurant with good food and drinks. Place was empty when I arrived at 6:30 but packed when I left at 9:00. Very good service.
